It's Goof-Off Day

Okay, I'm swamped and could use a breather. You too? This little time waster game of skill will indulge your love of words and exercise both your eye-hand coordination and reaction time. This is what I tell myself when I am excusing my procrastination no lie.

Do let me know if you hate me now because you can't leave the thing alone have fun.

Revealing your score is optional. Anybody game? ;)

All right... I don't need any more excuses to procrastinate! BTW, I made it to level 8 before my tired brain fizzled out.

Nora -- Me either! And just after I kicked my Minesweeper addiction . . . Of course, that means I can kick this one, too. Right? I've played this game enough that I routinely finish all ten levels and score pretty high. I don't think I can move my hand any faster, so I've hit my ceiling. It's time to move on, right? Not to another game, though. I didn't mean that! :)

I just wrote about being swamped, too!

And I thought blogs were justifiable procrastination. Now you offer us yet more ways to justifiably procrastinate - vocab building, playing around with language - they make you feel so "writerly" --

I know, if blogging isn't time-consuming enough, there's always something else! Oh, and besides being writerly, I'm supposed to keep the connections going in my brain as I age, right? See, I NEED this stuff. :)

I took one look at this and a chill ran right through me. Not another way to procrastinate -- please! Free Rice was bad enough, and I have to keep hiding my blog when my kids come into the room. I've got another game that purportedly tests hand-eye movement for NASA employees. Sigh... I'm no stranger to procrastination.

I'm hooked...the word 'games' under my favorites has the longest list of sites...grin...Thanks for helping me add another site...grin...

Hi Brenda. Wow, I'm afraid if I looked into too many games, I'd be hopelessly sidetracked from life. And today I just read again about the importance of games and puzzles in keeping the brain sharp. I'm going to try NOT to go to the killer sudoku site. :)
