It's Goof-Off Day

Oh my, it's the fifth Thursday of the month. Okay, so this isn't a "regular post" day, and that must mean it's Goof-Off Day! So, if you want to help the bookworm eat words so his library won't burn down (we can all sympathize with how important this is!), do click on the link: http://www.games.com/game-play/bookworm/single/

Marcia, I like that game. It's a good alternative to solitaire when I'm procrastinating.

Sounds good to me, too!! :)

I can't believe it's almost May already. Where the heck did April go???

Yay! Everyone needs a goof off day. I just wish I didn't take so many...

Andrea -- I much prefer word and math games to solitaire; now if only I didn't seem to HAVE to be addicted to one...

Rena and Tabitha -- Drat, I've followed my own advice too well today. I don't know--April went where they all go, I guess. :)

Bish -- I know, I know. But we have to keep those new neurons forming, don't we? :D

Lisa -- Mine tend to happen unexpectedly. As in, "THIS much time wasn't supposed to get away on me!" and then I write the day off. As opposed to writing the day away, I guess. :(

Fifth Friday months, we writers in our area go out for drinks together and try to encourage one another - it's a great tradition.

Love the idea of a game too.

Kim -- So you have goof-off NIGHT? :) Love the idea of socializing and encouraging one another.

Beth -- This game really eats up the time, too. :| And it's addicting with that "just one more word, just one more word" feeling.

LOL! Just what I need... another distraction!

Nora -- Yeah. But now it's May 3 and back to work. The fact that there's an open bookworm game on the taskbar notwithstanding.

I've been busy with revisions that I've been absent from blog-land. But goof-off day sounds heavenly.

Christina -- I think Goof Off day gives the most satisfaction when most days are productive. Otherwise, they don't really feel good. Like you, I'm back in productive mode. :)
