Tomorrow (Today) is *Thursday*

I usually schedule my posts. I'm scheduling this one, too. Except I'm doing so at 10pm the night before, because I just remembered *tomorrow is Thursday*. Or, as you read this, today is Thursday.

I'm busy writing, editing, teaching, SCBWI-ing, prepping for Election Day (I'm a pollworker), getting ready to host a grandchild this weekend (aack! Groceries needed!), and planning an upcoming short vacay to Indiana. I am not, frankly, reading much right now. But that's another thing I must do: line up some books for the vacay. My daughter-in-law and I always build reading time into the visits. Really, we're all reading something or other at some time or other, and the girls will ask for stories before bed. I can picture those cozy book-and-ice-cream evenings already.

I'm writing this now -- it's kind of like being up late to do homework -- because just a little while ago I finished a big scene in my novel. I feel accomplished! But then I realized there's a problem. I want "tomorrow" in the book to be Sunday, and...you guessed it, "tomorrow" is *Thursday*. I'll have to figure out what to do about that.

But now, I'm going upstairs to make that grocery list. Because I need the food by Friday morning, and *tomorrow is Thursday*.

Happy Thursday, everyone.

LOL, Marcia. You are so organized! I hope the shopping and visits will give you a breather, and just maybe you can steal a couple of hours here and there to keep writing.

And tomorrow is today. Only in Blogosphere :)
It was almost a year after I began posting that I realized I can post ahead. What a revelation... The closest thing to BACK TO THE FUTURE.
I hope you enjoy being busy. It all sounds very positive. Especially the grandkid part.

Vijaya -- We'll see how that goes!

Mirka -- I might have been blogging about that same length of time when I found out.

This happened to me on Sunday night. I scrambled to schedule my Monday Mishmash post because I didn't realize it was Sunday already. Time does slip by sometimes.

Sounds like you are very busy. But, it sounds like a good busy. My husband is a poll worker, too. He loves it. Have fun with the grandkids!

=) The list of things to do is never ending. I'm always grateful for preschedulding. If not for that, I'm not sure I'd be sane.

Kelly -- It sure does, and that gets worse if you forget what day it is!

Janet -- Working the polls is a long day, though! 14 hours for me. It is enjoyable, though, and you get to see so many people. Not a bad occasional outing for an introvert. :)

Crystal -- I used to preschedule really far ahead. Sometimes I still do, but my list is exhausted currently.

Good post, Marcia. It reflects the whirl that we're all caught up in! Good luck on getting those groceries in. BTW, it's now Friday. Tick Tock.

I've been guilty of losing track of the days more than a few times in the past year! We're just too busy. Congrats on finishing a big scene in your novel!

Lee -- Filled the larder. So far, so good!

Stephanie -- Thanks. When the kids dropped off DGD, DSIL remarked that he thought it was Saturday b/c he wasn't at work. So guess what day I thought it was from that moment forward?

You mean it's not Thursday??? Aack! Hope you had a great weekend. :)

Marcia, I completely understand! I go on binges where I'll write out three months of posts in advance, and then my brain goes into relaxation mode--because it's totally covered. Until it's not. =)

Andrea -- Ha, we're halfway to Thursday again! :)

Crystal -- You have SO nailed it.

I hate that! I'm always having to go back and change the timeline on my stories. In one, I had to take it back a whole generation. That was fun.

Good luck with finding Sunday.

Lee -- A whole generation! Ouch! Fortunately, getting to Sunday wasn't too hard.
